Do you think that the root cause is greed? Liberal entitlement mentality? What?

I believe that we’ve lost our way due to liberal ideology and I have a hard time feeling sorry for folks who bring consequences like this on themselves.

I’m self sufficient with or without money. I make my own way. Why should I feel an obligation to a group that has been too dumb to understand the consequences of their own selfish actions? Consequences they’ve been warned about.

Did people really think that a society that allows the murder of babies would succeed? Did they really think that accepting homosexuality would make things better? That open borders is a good idea? That religion could be discarded without consequence? Fools. What did they expect?

Oh come now..

Ya think fatcorps taking tens of hundreds of thousands of jobs to Mexico and Communist countries are honorable and are doing so for their efficiency? No, it's because they work for dirt cheap, they pay little taxes, get around the regs and their new workers think company benefits mean at 10 minute break...

Greed is the root cause of most misery; entitlement mentalities make it worse. You don’t have to feel any obligation to anyone; you just can’t pretend that they’re not there (or that they don’t vote) - that was McCain’s lesson in 2008. As far as warnings, nobody plainly stated the fact that no matter what you study or skills you obtain, forces are constantly at work to have this done by someone who will live 10 to an apartment eating meat once a week. I’m still working, and keeping current on my bills; I can’t pretend that others are so lucky (and yes, luck has plenty to do with it).

I agree with you on the morality issue, but don’t see a direct correlation; in fact, many of the most evil people can be financially successful. The punishment is due in the afterlife, though sometimes it comes a bit early.
