A Cain VP would need:

(1) Strong foreign policy experience
(2) Be a GOP insider/establishment type (otherwise the GOP establishment will do it’s best to undercut Cain’s campaign)
(3) Have a long political background (so he can be sold as someone that can help Cain with the ins and outs of Washington)

Ideally, that would be a senator like...(I can’t believe I’m suggesting this)...Lindsey Graham?

Yea, he’s a RINO on domestic policy, but he’s solid (and respected by both sides and the MSM) on foreign policy.

He’s got the charimsa of a duck, but Cain’s got enough to make up for it.
