Well, the votes go state to state. Romney has pretty much of a lock on the major states...in fact, Romney can win the nomination with NO southern states.
Cain can’t compete in big media markets. He can retail in small, inconsequential states, but there’s not enough delegates to add up.

I’ll say one thing...if Zogby’s poll holds up, and Cain is up two to one over the whoever is second...then it shows that Cain can compete ANYWHERE, as the nomination will be a blowout. The state strategy doesn’t even matter if Cain gets twice the number of votes as the next person...as they’re using proportional delegates now.
We shall see.
