You mean you really don't understand that the greatest immediate problem facing our Country is the lack of jobs, the poor business climate and the economy in general? Herman Cain knows , from personal experience, about creating jobs, making businesses profitable so that they can hire workers, and successfully turning economic failures into economic successes.
Herman Cain is exactly what the Country needs now.
Certain qualities are necessary for president. The reason we usually vote for governors is because they have EXECUTIVE experience...i.e. experience running a large entity like a state or corporation. A good executive (and we already know Cain is excellent) knows how to find the best person for the job and to find expertise in areas they don’t know as much about. They also know how to delegate. Surround yourself with good people and trust them to do their job and you have a formula for success.
Like all border states Perry had to make choices for his state on how to handle the situation so he might have more experience with circumstances on the border but not on deciding national policy...though he does have an advantage.
Obviously he hasn’t lowered taxes but he does know how tax policy effects business (small and large) because corporations have to have policies that deal specifically with taxes. Bet he knows what needs to be done. In this case I think a business person would be best since this affects the private sector. People in government for too long forget what it’s like in the real world.
Other than play ping pong with embryonic stem cells what has any president done about abortion? With three coequal branches of government what is he supposed to do. They can control where and how some money is spent but Roe will have to be overturned for any meaningful legislation to happen.
How do you “implement” pro second amendment policies? It’s a constitutional right. No policy necessary other than making sure states don’t override constitutional rights. To my knowledge Bush didn’t do that either.
As for “implementing” conservative ideals. He lives them. That mean he has spent a lifetime understanding, from the perspective of a private citizen and a businessman how important it is to get the government out of the freaking way so we can live according to our ideals.
Considering all the man has accomplished the fact that you would relegate him to nothing more than someone who can “fix” the post office, either you haven’t done your homework (it’s not a question of supporting him but not misrepresenting what he’s done), or simply find it difficult to discern facts from research.
But I really think, and I’m not trying to be mean because I know I was lacking (and still learning) about how the government works. The executive branch is very much like a corporation, whether state or federal. The president is the CEO with various departments, state, defense, interior, etc. So someone with SUCCESSFUL executive experience whether in government or the private sector will be most successful.

Well that's a dumb question because he has never held a position that empowered him to do those things. I mean, it would be like asking Rick Perry come come he never invented anything at Apple.
I'm quite sure that Cain has a plan for all that you mention above should he be elected and if he does not, then certainly he should not be elected.
