The “Occupy Wall Street” protests are garnering more institutional support, this time in the halls of Congress. Liberal congressmen have been coming out this week to voice their support for the demonstrations, whose actual demands remain unclear.

“All of us should join that movement,” California Democratic Rep. Barbara Lee said before the liberal Take Back the American Dream conference, according to The Hill.

Congressional Progressive Caucus co-chairs Arizona Democratic Rep. Raúl Grijalva and Minnesota Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison echoed Lee, asserting that they “stand with the American people as they demand corporate accountability.”

Are they ready to run each other out of town on a rail, or as Roseanne Barr suggested, cut each other’s heads off? They ARE the source of the problem.

“stand with the American people as they demand corporate accountability.”

Perhaps we need an "Occupy DC" movement to demand accountability from our elected officials.

Getting involved with that bunch is going to turn around and take a large bite out of them. They will pay a price for this particular lunacy.

Good. Then the rest of the country will see the protests as the staged political events they really are.

Well of course Democratic lawmakers are supporting these lazy vermin, it’s a Democratic protest with liberal goals. It’s just a part of the Democratic election strategy.

The great Silent Majority will take care of them Nov. 2012.

Normally I'm of the opinion that Dems pay a fraction of the price Republicans would for various flavors of public and private dumb, but I agree with you. This stink won't media whitewash off. I think Biden and Obama will both jump in with both feet in support of this insanity just about the point when the rest of the country is ready to put all these cretins on an ice floe.

Barbara Lee, by the way, is the ONLY member of both houses of Congress to vote AGAINST a resolution in support of our troops as we ramped up for OEF.

Only if they're allowed by the "media" to learn it.

Great. I can’t wait to start hearing their speeches in which they try to garner sympathy (plus our money) for some 6-year college grad with a degree in theater, $100,000 in student loans, whining because he cannot find work. The best result would be for his parents to move while he’s out occupying Wall Street, and he’d find out what it’s like to be on your own.

If the Wall Street” protesters had one ounce of brains they would be on the steps of Congress.
However sheep tend to follow the union boss.

These politicians should be held accountable for what they are actually are supporting.

When the next election cycle comes up, their words today should be held up against the protester’s demands.

Since they want to be associated with the radical left, they should be married to it.

Including 0bama!

Congressional democrats need to stand with their base. They need to go into the streets with their maggot infested human vermin. Then they need to make speeches about corruption in government especially with those in majority power and the president. They need to inflame their base to take down the party that is in power now.

heh heh heh. I would love to see one of these jackwagons do this. He would be indicting himself in the middle of the wacky jackals.
