Gosh ... since this is secret ... should some of us be asking to be removed from the other lists we have been put on? Figure those on the other (zer0) lists will wind up being on this list too.

Maybe the real question is ... America do you feel like you are being threatened yet?

When it can be easily turned against us domestically...
Thats when you ask yourself again:
“What am I prepared to do about it, and what am I prepared to sacrifice to defeat it?”
For those new to my question, it is a personal gut-check, and not designed for anyone to answer it in a public forum...Keep it to yourself, it is much easier that way...

America is a country of laws. As I and others have suggested, we criticize Ubama for refusing to release a Justice Department legal opinion that reportedly justified killing Awlaki. ZERO is a hypocrite because the LEFT insisted on publishing Bush-era administration legal memos justifying the use of interrogation techniques that the LEFT falsely insisted were torture (water-boarding), and yet Ubama refused to make public his rationale for killing a citizen without due process.

People better wake up. Every American that seriously believes in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights is a prime candidate for a list, if they aren't already on one. This press release is just part of the process of acclimating the public and, more importantly, local law enforcement to accept this like its a normal and necessary function of government. They've been training local cops for a decade the we are the enemy.

"There is no public record of the operations or decisions of the panel, which is a subset of the White House's National Security Council, several current and former officials said. Neither is there any law establishing its existence or setting out the rules by which it is supposed to operate." Not good. File under "Things that can go bad quickly."

And now folks will know why I questioned the sanguinity of all those supporting executive powers like this with no checks and no balances from elected officials or Article 3 courts.

The Star Chamber (Latin: Camera stellata) was an English court of law that sat at the royal Palace of Westminster until 1641. It was made up of Privy Counsellors, as well as common-law judges and supplemented the activities of the common-law and equity courts in both civil and criminal matters. The court was set up to ensure the fair enforcement of laws against prominent people, those so powerful that ordinary courts could never convict them of their crimes.
Court sessions were held in secret, with no indictments, no right of appeal, no juries, and no witnesses. Evidence was presented in writing. Over time it evolved into a political weapon, a symbol of the misuse and abuse of power by the English monarchy and courts.
In the Star Chamber the council could inflict any punishment short of death, and frequently sentenced objects of its wrath to the pillory, to whipping and to the cutting off of ears. ... With each embarrassment to arbitrary power the Star Chamber became emboldened to undertake further usurpation. ... The Star Chamber finally summoned juries before it for verdicts disagreeable to the government, and fined and imprisoned them. It spread terrorism among those who were called to do constitutional acts. It imposed ruinous fines. It became the chief defense of Charles against assaults upon those usurpations which cost him his life.
