Are you ready for some football? Hank Williams Jr. isn't anymore.
The country singer and ESPN each took credit for the decision Thursday morning to ax his classic intro to "Monday Night Football."
Madonna. Ugh. I want to puke just imagining her. What a skank.
I think it was the standard, “I apologize if anyone was offended,” non-apology.
Even worse
I am a Denver Bronco fan.
One time Hank was having a very tough time at a concert. Drunk, forgot lyrics, cursed crowd...show had to be cancelled, refunds given, apologies later. The tour sponsor was not pleased:
Budweiser.
“ABC is about to learn a lesson regarding who their MNF audience is.”
Won’t make a bit of a difference. Didn’t hurt them with Rush and it won’t hurt them now. If I want to watch MNF I will because i want to see the game and the teams. If a good football game was broadcast on MTV/HGTV/PBS or whatever.
As for the poster on here that gave up on the switch to digital TV...you can buy a digital antenna a Sears for as cheap as $9.95 to 29.95..bought one for my boat since i didn’t want to spend the bucks for satellite tv.
Are they keeping the liberal Faith Hill?
Remember, originally they had the ultra-liberal Pink doing the opening.
“While Im disappointed to see Hank Williams, Jr. follow in the footsteps of Jimmy The Greek Snyder...”

Both made factual statements.
Obama is behaving in totalitarian style ala Hitler.
Slaveholders did atttempt to “breed” slaves for size and strength.
bye bye ESPN
Concerning Madonna for half-time show, what more worthless POS can they pick for it ? I never like her since the 1980’s. Also an additional comment, why is she in the Rock’n’Roll Hall of Fame especially with her very lame music ? But yet great ones are snubbed like RUSH, Deep Purple, Yes, KISS and others ! Even Michael Jackson is in the Hall !
I say they should bring back “Up With People” for the halftime show.
“ABC is about to learn a lesson regarding who their MNF audience is.”
I doubt that, as the American people are still going to watch the NFL and no one was tuning in to MNF to see Hank Williams Jr.
Furthermore, if you are over 53 years old, ESPN and the NFL does not care if you watch since you are of no value to the advertisers.
Yeah watch College Football, much more entertaining anyways.
If you never watched the Fiesta Bowl (2007) between the Boise State Bronco’s and the Oklahoma Sooner’s it was one of the all time best football games you will ever watch.
I guarantee it!

It was a lot better before they changed the words to suit MNF.
The Williams family: Proof that talent skips a generation.
...unless the game goes into overtime.
It's interminable.
Isn't an analogy a comparison?
