He’s right, of course. Today it’s this Alwaki nut job. Tomorrow it’ll be Tea Party folks.

Ron Paul: Government could begin to target media, just like it has with terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki

If you include the likes of Axis Sally among the "media".

OK, first an admission. I hate it when people who do not support Perry call him an idiot or call Perry supporters imbeciles. But Ron Paul must have been a bright guy at one point in his life to become a doc. What happened Ron you sound like a nut job!

What if the media becomes a threat?

What if? What more does the media have to do, Ron? They already support the overthrow of our Constitution.

“Government could begin to target media, just like it has with terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki”

Already been done, guess Congressman Paul forgot about the Clinton’s bombing of Serbian TV studios.

"Can you imagine being put on a list because you're a threat? What's going to happen when they come to the media? What if the media becomes a threat? ... This is the way this works.

Put your head on straight Ronnie. The liberals love the media and the media loves the liberals. The only people targeted would be conservatives in the media - and that's what is happening already! Unless you're stupid enough to suggest that the government is actually going to put out a "kill" hit list on them. Of course, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if you did believe that.

Dictators from the time of the Caesars to the present have always put the ultimate silence on their critics. Obama would be no exception.

Go ahead. Mock Ron Paul.

We are already on a list.

http://www.foxnews.com/on-air/war-stories/2009/04/16/i-am-extremist

Now tell me which of our Republican Candidates would REALLY take significant steps to reign in this out of control government, or do more than a few token vetos of anti-Constitutional legislation (if any), or actually eliminate ANY government agencies?

Romney? LOL!
Perry? Sure, he’ll get right on that, don’t you think?
Cain? He seems to think what the Fed has done and is doing is just peachy...

It’s sad that only the “kooks” seem to actually want to enforce our Constitutional limitations on government.

It’s worse that we aid and abet the de-legitimization of anyone who dares go there.

Last chance folks. It only gets worse from here...

If those of you who post here candidly don’t think you are on some kind of a threat or watch list against the establishment for being even remotely politically active, you need to wake up. Having political beliefs has become a threat.

This isn’t the same USA where patriots once defended our rights to speak our mind. Your rights are at risk just by speaking your mind on a public forum. Each and every one of you have had a dossier established on your politics and psyche.

You think establishment shills on talk radio or in the media are ever going to defend you? Since I’m older I don’t give a crap and I will say exactly what is on my mind which is our right.
