There was a caller talking about all the jobs available in the Texas oil fields. He has knowledge of the testing procedures and all the drug test failures. 70% of those CDL drivers are using some type of drug while on the road is scary.

The hosts were talking about the “occupy Austin” rally today and all the demonstrators want something for nothing. They were asking if any of those people would take the driver jobs, IF they could pass the drug tests.

Thanks for the clarification.

I suspect this isn’t a sign of the general population.

Those that want to work in this industry and can pass a drug test, are already working.

Those applying to the jobs now in a market that has been strong for a while are either new to the industry, or new to trying to pass a drug test.

The host must have been pretty unenlightened. Heck take "those kinds of jobs," is immoral to their global warming gods.

One is just that, but one is a FReeper. He knew they weren't wanting that type of labor. If I was a few years younger, I go get my CDL and drive a truck. BTW, there were only 150 people in Austin and I just heard it had 'grown' to about 200 by noon.

It’s a 1.5 day drive from Wall St. to Watford City ND. The “I need a job” protestors could have one by Monday.
