Quite often in high level politics, each side has something really nasty they could spill about the other side, then they decide to call it a wash and keep quiet. Wonder if that will happen this time around.

This was never about catching bad guys in Mexico. This was about proving that all of Mexico's drug violence was caused by guns smuggled in from the USA. As this wasn't true, they had to make it happen themselves.
