The new acting director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said Wednesday he was reassigning 11 of the agency's top officials in a bid to rebuild ATF after Operation Fast and Furious, in which agents let U.S.-purchased guns slip into the hands of Mexican drug cartels. ATF Acting Director B. Todd Jones said the reshuffling will help the agency focus on its "core missions of violent crime and public safety" and bring about "a certain level of accountability" in the wake of the controversy. "We're going to hit the reset button," said Jones,

We're going to hit the reset button," said Jones,

They need to fire everyone and send them all to prison.

Exactly! We the people are going to hit the reset button alright. Anyone who works for the BATFE had better start updating their resume’. It’s coming.

Fast and Furious, a multiagency operation in Phoenix, was meant to take down Mexican drug cartels by letting straw buyers purchase guns illegally so agents could trace the weapons across the border to drug cartel higher-ups.

Pure BS!!! No one, I repeat NO ONE believes that crap. Idiot press must surely get it.

“in which agents let U.S.-purchased guns slip into the hands of Mexican drug cartels”

Is this reporter clueless or biased? The whole point of F&F was to put guns into the hands of drug cartels. The guns didn’t accidentally ‘slip’ into the wrong hands - they were put into those hands On Purpose, in one of the grossest abuses of Fed power in history.

"LET SLIP"?

It was just an accident, a slip up. Could have happened to anyone, right?

More of the media performing oral sex on the Obama thugs.

This is so much like reading Pravda back in the 60s and 70s. And that tells me that this country is sailing very close to the wind.

This is nothing else but providing cover for the guilty. If they were serious about it these people would be out on the street looking for work and banned from doing any government work in anyway shape or form.

I can dream, can't I?

Two scenarios. A vigorous prosecution will follow it to the top. Zero, Axelrod, Soros cooling heals in Canyon City. President Cain refuses to pardon any of them. Scenario two, a weak prosecution languishes into the Romney adminstration, who calls off the attack dogs. Some agents reassigned to the Nome field office and others get a sternly worded reprimand in their files. It is swept away into obscurity.

So the federal criminal syndicate is simply shuffling the cards.

Every last man, woman or other who had a hand in the F&F debacle needs to spend a long, long, LONG time in prison.

Someone close to me grew up in an Eastern Bloc country under Communism. The difference between Pravda and the MSM now is that in Communist countries everyone knew that Pravda or other commie news outlets were full of lying crap; no one believed them at all except maybe a few hardcore party members. And they probably didn’t either.

You don’t suppose that this could be part of Soros’ long march through North America? Today the United States, tommorrow Mexico. Who knows, the guy is a maniacal monster.

He’s doing good with the mission. How many deaths is Fast and Furious up to now?

It could certainly be part of Soros’ strategy. He paid enough to get Obama elected; doubtless he has a say in most of this administration’s decisions. He hates the US, so a thing like F&F would suit him to a T.

Wasn’t the joke: “There is nothing true in Pravda (Truth) and no news in “Isvestia” (News)

I think the actual Russian joke was "There is no pravda in "Isvestia" and no isvestia in "Pravda."

Which says volumes about the reasoning ability of half the people in this country. Depressing volumes.
