Those of us who believe Romney is inevitable, think so because in 2008, John McCain won the nomination. Did anyone on FR want that to happen? No. If McCain can win, so can Romney. Open primaries and stupid moderates will see to it.

That is a very good point. I had forgotten that there were very few McCain supporters on FR back then. That's why I say, and tell FREEPERS, that too many of them live in a bubble. They think that everyone in this country thinks they way they do...and the way their FReeper buds do...and that just ain't the case.

McCain is case in point.

Exactly. Freepers are a faction of a faction of a faction. Which is why we got insane posts like "Palin will get 80% of the national vote" from people who are permanently hearing impaired due to living 24/7 in the echo chamber.

Romney is still a serious threat to win the nomination, because you can't zot RINOS and moderates off the GOP voting rolls like they're zotted from FR.
