She doesn’t owe you anything. She owes her family. If you’re really interested you could have listened to her on Mark’s show explaining it.

I bought her books, sent her money, and feel let down too. However, this was the right decision. Going forward, she rallies the troops, helps select the next President, and perhaps gets a position in the next Administration such as Energy Secretary where she can make a positive contribution and re-introduce herself to the average American. She is a young woman still. All in good time.

Why does she owe anyone an apology? I have not heard one thing from Palin leading me to believe she is running for president. I've heard people asking her to run and the usual "heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend" stuff from cryptic blogs, but nothing from Palin until now.
The only ones she owes is family. What she owes people who bought her books is a book. What she owes people who donate to her PAC is good endorsements. That's it.
Oh, please. You paid for a book, you received a book. If you gave donations, you did so of your own free will with no promise of anything in return. Grow up.

She’s the one who had to deal with the ethics complaints. She’s the one who had to deal with the hackers. She’s the one who had to deal with lawyers because of that mcginnis book with all the disgusting stuff in it. She’s the one who has to deal with all this crap which is NOT fun for her, her kids and her marriage. Yes she made some money but can she really enjoy it?

How would you like to put yourself and your family - down to your Down’s Syndrome baby - through the total despicable trashing she has endured. And then something like 70% of republicans say they don’t want you to run. How would you like that?
I’m glad for her contributions, glad for the conservatives she helped elect and hope she will help get more elected. But I wouldn’t blame her if she just spent her winters in Arizona and her summers in Alaska and forgot about the haters and the ungrateful Republicans.
One thing is for sure: she owes you nothing and she owes me nothing.
I think the backlash against her is this method of just waiting this long. She played it all out.
