Well, that is precisely true. The only thing that ANY government policy can do is destroy employment. When meddling in the market occurs, devestation is the result. The best thing any candidate could say is that they would work to get the feds out of our way!
But “getting government out of our way” is precisely the GOVERNMENT POLICY we need. It’s not what we have today. It’s what our candidates need to say they will do, not “everything is fine and if you don’t have a job it’s your own fault”.
