No way that would ever pass once people get to looking at it and see how it would effect them.

And that would be the Congress doing its job - debating and vetting the merits of different policy proposals. It's why it exists.

We like for a candidate for POTUS to have ideas about what he will do if elected but at the end of the day that's not why we vote for him. We vote for a man to be President because he represents the best in us and the best things about America. The policy issues will sort themselves out afterword.
