There is a biological correlation between the reproductive rate and survival rate of a species. The higher chance that a species will survive, the lower the reproductive rate.I recently discovered that termites have been eating my house. Does that purported correlation apply to termites?

I think I saw on some nature video that a termite queen can pop out a termite every nine seconds.
