His portfolio will include issues primarily dealing with the Department of Justice, another key function will be to handle matters relating to and resulting from investigations launched by Rep. Darrell Issa.
Tracy Schmaler is director of the Justice Department’s Office of Public Affairs. Tracy, who has been has been deputy director since the beginning of the administration, previously worked on the Senate Judiciary Committee for Chairman Pat Leahy, and as a reporter for the Vermont Press Bureau. She covered Howard Dean as governor and his last reelection, and a few months of his presidential. Between Senate and DoJ, was at Yahoo for a year and a half.
