Issa has announced umpteen “investigations” thus far, but what has happened? Nothing.
I hope this is different. Eric Holder deserves to be in the crossbar hotel, but I’m not convinced any Republican has the balls to see that he’s held accountable and charged with anything.
This expands it beyond the House/Senate investigations. Regardless how the administration plays it, the request is there and political capital can be made either way. Also, the MSM has somewhat expanded their coverage. It’s not going away, that’s for sure, and this helps.
Issa’s investigations build the case for the prosecutor, and I would say he is doing a damned fine job of it based on the results. What do you think he should do, just jump on the first piece of evidence and let it go from there?
