on the bright side I suppose there’s always a nice cushy job at Merck waiting for you...

Perrys support for the Texas policy of providing in-state tuition to the children of illegal immigrants appears to be a significant problem in the GOP race. Bingo!

The Tea Party and Republicans are hungry for a winner against the Usurper. And Perry does not look like one.

Governor of a state of 25 million with a 1200 mile international border and 40% of the job creation in the country over the last two years is prime time.
Oh wait, pandering, saying what you would do without ever having to have done it, and coming up with snarky comments is what substitutes for prime time now a days.
We'll see when the quarterly donations are announced who is ready for prime time.

On RealClearPolitics, they have it reported at Romney at 25, Cain and Perry at 17, not the 16 listed above and Gingrich tied with Paul at 9 and Bachman at 7 and Santorum at 2 and Huttsman at 1.
Maybe I’m missing something.

Pretty Boy Perry seems to not understand how fed up a majority of Americans are with illegal immigrants!
Not that I wouldn't vote for him over Obamah, just saying.

By the way there is a great new article in the Houston Chronicle on how Perry defended the Confederate flag on state grounds when the NAACP tried to have them removed. Perry as Lt.Governor said we should never forget our history.
Join in with the left and the Romney folks in trashing that too.

ABC must have the finest faux polls which Romney can buy.
CONSERVATIVES WILL NOT VOTE FOR ROMNEY.
CONSERVATIVES WILL NEVER VOTE FOR ROMNEY. NEVER.

Cain and Perry are tied. If people would stop giving Romney a pass, maybe he wouldn’t be in the lead. Perry is way more conservative than Romney.
To: MNJohnnie
Something about him bothered me, but, since I couldn’t put my finger on it, I gave him the benefit of the doubt. But when he tried to justify taxpayer subsidies for illegal aliens’ college education, he lost me.

Perry is the reason that Romney is now virtually inevitable. He isn’t Fred Thompson but he DOES play him on TV.
Ugh.

Care to illuminate those in the dark as to which Republican candidate *IS* strong on immigration?
It is the burning question that is determining support for the Presidential nomination.

This poll may very well reflect the facts but I am cautious about any poll from the WoPo and ABC. They want Romney to win and then they can point to how little difference there is between Romney and Obama as they grease the skids for Obama again.
To: MNJohnnie
Rick’s problem regarding in-state tuition is his method of defending it. He did not offer a rational explanation of his position, but rather attacked (personally) anyone who disagreed with him.
When the candidate leads with a liberal tactic to silence opposition, one whouls expect that conservatives will fail to support the candidate.

All of these people who are supporting Romney on here need to remember that he probably can’t beat Obama in the general and their support will help to ensure the completion of the Ayers/Soros agenda.
