Who among us believes the 9/11 hijackers acted on a "perverse and narrow interpretation" of their religion?

Islam's religious beliefs, the fundamentals of what they believe, define the core of their thinking. All Muslims are compelled to look down on non-Muslims as infidels. Muslims loathe Christians.

The Koran---Islam's ubiquitous religious playbook---contains the directives that rule their lives. EVERY Muslim must abide by these directives.

Have no unbelieving friends. Kill the unbelievers wherever you find them. 4:89

When you fight with disbelievers, do not retreat. Those who do will go to hell. 8:15-16

Those that the Muslims killed were not really killed by them. It was Allah who did the killing. 8:17

Fight the disbelievers! Allah is on your side; he will give you victory. 9:12-14
