Italian uproar erupts after Amanda Knox acquittal
The Daily Caller ^ | 10/03/2011 | Stephen Robert Morse

PERUGIA, Italy — It was silent in the courtroom for a long time after Amanda Knox, the now-exonerated American woman, was led into an Italian courtroom for the last time. A presiding judge spoke. We heard not a word from the jury. And then she was declared “innocenta.”

And then anger erupted in the streets outside.

News crews — mostly Italians — alternated between filming and shouting “Vergogna! Vergogna!” (“Shame! Shame!”) for the first five minutes.

A mass of people took up the calls of “Shame!” outside the courthouse, and in a second gathering area nearby.

Italy's Corriere Della Sera newspaper reported that the angry mob on the streets of Perugia also shouted "Bastards!" and "Bought!"

Again the overwhelming stench surrounding the lies and deceit by the two accussed points to their involvement.

You are not only dumb but also a certified imbecile, go play with yourself, a village is missing its idiot somewhere.

The lies, etc. are a point of concern. However, as has been pointed out they were being questioned harshly with prompts from the police, etc.

Thank goodness we have the 5th Amendment in the U.S. Not like that in Italy. Not even the presumption of innocence that we have. And it seems that the evidence in the Knox case (or lack of evidence) outweighed the statements, etc.

In any regard - the following video is a MUST WATCH I think and is a real eye opener on how statements can be construed. Even true statements from innocent people. It is pretty amazing how it can get twisted.

Video is called “NEVER Talk to the Police” put on by a lawyer. Entertaining as well.

There have not been one but a series of lies and coverups so to blame it all on the police is ridiculous.

Also the totally baseless framing of the innocent bar owner by the accused shows a very dark and disturbed mind.

Italian forensic standards are not like American CSI programs, if you ignore the spin and look at the facts and evidence the trust would be on the Italian prosecutor side.

“Italian forensic standards are not like American CSI programs..”

Agreed. Getting Knox’s boyfriend’s DNA off of the piece of broken bra clasp of the victim. A piece that had been left in the apartment for 47 days after the murder and moved who knows how many times.

DNA on a knife that did not fit any of the wound patterns.

I believe that it was these facts and evidence that the judge and jury reviewed that brought the verdict to innocent. And not just thrown out “due to insufficient evidence” - it was a verdict of innocence.

The Italian stuff that would be hardest for me to get rid of is not olive oil, but pasta. I don't know why it should be difficult for America to do pasta well, it has the highest technology and farms that are second to none. But the water has less starch in it after Italian pastas are cooked.

Try Ron Popeil's Pasta Matic. It comes with an expandable fishing pole.

Still the framing of a innocent bar owner by the accussed, pattern of lies and deceitful behaviour does not given an impression that the accused is innocent.

The courts may have cleared her like they did for OJ but it is clear that she and her boyfriend are involved. It is simple, liars cannot be trusted.

56 hours of police interrogation and no attorney present with very very suspect DNA evidence can do that to a person.

Well, I would take that challenge. If I were telling the truth, I could stay awake for 56 hours and not change my story like that. I might get a few details wrong, but it wouldn’t be “I was staying over at this guy’s apartment” to “Oh, right. I was home all night...”

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to cast doubt on DNA evidence. Heck, we had a two-bit, race-baiting ambulance-chaser do that in one of the biggest trials of the century on national television.

Her alibi sounded as tight to me as OJ Simpson’s.

But that’s just me. Other people accept her story along with the changes.

The Italin Prosecutor imagines sex orgies and Satanic rituals ~ in MANY OTHER MURDER CASES.

Tell us, when was the last time you heard of an orgy getting out of hand.

Guede hung around for a time before fleeing, whcih is why he covered the body up...he couldn’t look at the gruesome sight. During his trial he repeatededly said there was “just so much blood everywhere”...which of course was still bothering him even then.

So who is likely to be the stone killer? This squemish boy, or the girl who suposedly came home to an unlocked apartment, noted blood all over the floors, and decided to take a shower before doing anything else?

Are you saying that a drug fuelled orgy cannot get out of hand.

Are you saying that drug addicts behave in a rational calm manner.

Why the need to smear a innocent bar owner, who so many lies and coverups regarding their whereabouts if you say the accused are innocent. Remember the bar owner had to go to jail after being wrongly accused.

If you re-read what I asked I said nothing like that.

Now, regarding the drug ~ the Prosecutor said it was M A R I J U A N A.

Guede’s the murderer...all evidence pointed and continued to point to him. Simple. End of story.
