I believe you have misread my comments. I was certainly not surprised by the Slimes, having made it abundantly clear in rather demeaning fashion as to what I think of them. My comments were directed to the article linked to Minhacks.com, specifically to the author who seems overwhelmed by the Times' stance.

I concluded my comments by saying we at Free Republic know better than to be surprised.
