Howdy my!

Well, I've finally succumbed to the idea that I'm going to have to order my CZ82. Can't find one anywhere in any of the eastern part of the state.

My only reason for wanting to buy in person is that I can inspect it. Guess I'm just gonna have to go luck of the draw and have one of my local FFLs order one for me from J&G.

In the meantime, the Polish P-64 keeps getting my attention. They look like a nice piece. AIM has them for $180. J & G Sales just put them on sale for $150. They seem to have very good finishes.

Do you have a Radom P-64? Know much about them? Should I just go ahead and buy one of each?

:)

The CZ is a nice pistol.
It shoots great in DA or SA, has polygonal rifling, is a doublestack hi hap and has good sights.

The painted finish sucks and it will likely be nicked up.

I do have a P 64 and I like it.
It has a beautiful deep bluing and it is compact.
It’s draw backs are that it only holds 6, it has narrow sights and the DA trigger is atrocious (like 19 lbs).

The SA trigger is a crisp 3-4 lbs and is beautiful.
The good news is that the DA trigger can be fixed with an after market Walther trigger spring

I was in Widener’s a couple weeks ago and they had several CZ 82s and all looked very good. [If you don’t know about Widener’s, look on the Ammo search link )ammoseek.com).]
