They are also the dumbest. Shoot. Wait. Here they come again. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Thanks for the info.
Been drooling over both. The Keltec P-11 is a great self defense gun and I love it but it’s not a range gun.
Think I’ll go ahead order the CZ first. I suppose I can always DuraKote it myself.

My 14 y/o grandson took his 1st mulie with a 300 winmag, 265 yds. The scope on his .243 had problems so his dad handed him the winmag. Heck of a story for a 14 y/0. I’ve never shot one.

Hi mylife. A related question, since you appear to know CZs.
Heard anything about a CZ variant, the SAR K2 (Turkish) .45? I understand EAA is importing them. I would like to have a Para but don’t have the moolah.
I like the CZ frame, I have a 97B and PO1 and Kadet. One thing I don’ like about the CZ is you can’t engage the safety with the trigger down; I think you can with the SAR (and 4 more rounds) but would like to be sure before I buy.

I know I've posted these and others before but dogs may be the most satisfying part about duck hunting. I belonged to a UKC Hunting Retriever Training Club for 5 years before we moved to DC. Dogs are invaluable for hunter conservation because they recover game humans could never find, saving the population. Between dog training, learning to play a wind instrument [duck call], blind placement, decoy placement, boat navigation in the dark, there really isn't another kind of hunting skill so involved. I hunted for my dogs not me. BTW what is the limit on geese now up there, it was one a day last time I hunted near Horicon Marsh last century...

Looks like a CZ75B
Why not just buy one of those?
It’s about the same price.
Ergonomically the CZ75 just melds into your hand.

Ok, thanks. I understand it’s a real boat-anchor so I would probably keep it by the bed or in the car.

If a 14 y/o can shoot one and survive I guess the recoil I’ve always heard about isn’t that bad. 265 yards is a helluva shot!

Hey.
Local radio station has preempted Gun Talk with some financial/investing program for the 3rd hour, so I missed that today.
Are all the plans for the Cowboy Memorial Shoot coming together okay? I need to book a room. Maybe somewhere near the Cotton Gin?
