Tycoon Warren Buffett, headliner of last nights fund-raiser for President Obama at the Four Seasons, reiterated his advice for a tax on ultra-rich people who are paying very low tax rates.
But the message appeared to have limited appeal to donors expected to pay $10,000 a plate; the turnout was disappointing, according to one guest.

Obama’s speech (and the event’s general theme) that night was titled:
PAY ME 10 GRAND TO DEMONIZE YOU RICH GREEDY BASTARDS
Wounder why the turnout was bad.
I wonder if Buffett’s secretary got a dinner.
“Is this the same Warren who is fighting his tax bill in order to pay less, and ordering others to pay their fair share?”
This is the Buffet that is being blackmaled (pardon the pun) by Obama in that if he doesn’t play ball with whatever Obama wants him to do/say, then he won’t be let off the hook for his billion dollar tax bill the gov’t claims he owes. If Buffet plays ball and kisses up to Obama, he’s off the hook for the tax bill; if he doesn’t, his financial goose is cooked, tax-wise. So, Buffet kisses *ss, and throws fundraisers for Obama.
