Assuming half that many numbers of guns were supplied by each of the other operations, of which we know of about 7 others SO FAR. That means the US Government enabled the purchase of over 10, 000 guns that were illegally purchased and transferred illegally to Mexican Drug Cartels RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF A MEXICAN VIRTUAL CIVIL WAR BETWEEN THE CARTELS AND THE MEXICAN GOVERNMENT.
Because of the sheer volume of guns sent over the border, this goes way past a simple law enforcement sting and amounts to the deliberate arming of Drug Cartels with enough weapons to equip a serious army with more troops than we now have as peace keepers in Iraq.
