Of course it does. It's shocking how quickly folks around here are willing to jettison their ‘inalienable rights’ or those of their fellow citizens based codes, secret memos, unspecified legal theories, or a general ‘ends justify the means’ mentality. This is the lazy, anti-intellectual side of conservatism; the same one that allows expansion of the government when Republicans are in power because ‘he's our guy.’ Enough. The Constitution either means something, and we are a nation of laws, or we should send a letter to England apologizing and asking for George III back.

Reagan would laugh at the nuttiness of Libertarians, Ron Paul and very confused conservatives.

Reagan, who loved common horse sense, would absolutely favor this action.
