What is your opinion of the bagged cut salad mixes sold in markets? Do you think they are safe? I always wash the leaves, but others tell me they are already pre-washed and safe to eat as is.
I think they are too expensive. ;)
I lost my spleen a couple of years ago to an accident, and now my immune system is somewhat compromised. I personally wouldn't eat those salads without a bleach-water soak and rinse.
