((snip))

Just reclassify the drug lords as a class of “terrorist” and send in the Predator dones. Case closed!

And then, kill them until we don't have that probem any more.

Just out of curiosity, how old are you?

Does he want to invade a sovereign nation?

S-40: Pleeeeeeze! You make my point about the Perry haters being single-minded and willing to buy/make up "factoids". The article clearly says "to help fight..." and does not anywhere insinuate he would invade Mexico.

I also find it interesting how you can jump the shark in both directions - you detest the illegal Mexicans coming over, yet you're ready to howl about a sovereign nation being invaded ...

That is just so wrong. Not only will it not work but it’ll wind up corrupting American troops. There’s just too much money involved. And drugs.

I’m for sending troops also, but I think we should conquer the rotten country and make sure their people stay on their side of the border.

is it just me or does this sound like a really bad idea?
Just build a Israeli type fence and put troops on the border.
Sending troops into that craphole is a bad thing.

Cain, to my knowledge has never said he was for amnesty -- Perry has.

Perry has not. He's repeated opposed amnesty. You know this but keep repeating the lie over and over.

Perry's always been about against Bush/McCain pathways to citizenship amnesty, against blanket amnesty, and against the Federal DREAM Act.

Now you're suggesting (no /s tag) he wants to invade Mexico.

If being open to helping our ally and neighbor get control of narco-terrorists within its own borders by being open to a request for our military expertise is insane, than I welcome the insanity.

If we can supply training, logistical support or assets, we absolutely should be open to it.

You should learn more about your hero before you make a fool of yourself trying to defend him.

But just to be clear: if border security is accomplished, you can envision some sort of path to citizenship for people who are here illegally.

Rick Perry: Sure.

"Sure" is an affirmative.

We can beef up the border patrol and give them FLIR, that would be pretty simple. We don’t need to invade Mexico.

The wall is redundant alongside the river..

Add a lot of alligators to the water and I would agree with you. OTOH, most of this would be redundant if the current laws were enforced. Unfortunately, we have a Justice Dept that seems bent on suing any state that attempts to do so.

You want to send our new homosexual military to invade Mexico using newly printed dollars and you think it will be a friendly gesture?

You should vote for Perry, LOL!

I could be wrong about Perry. Maybe he is ready to send some troops across the border to chase some of the scum that steps onto US soil, does their dirty deed and high tails it back across the border.

Also there have been numerous reports over the years that Mexican military or paramilitary have crossed the border into the US, sprayed gunfire and gone back. Maybe Perry means to get after them.
