Never forget, Huckabee hates Romney, he's watching Perry fall, and he has to think that he can beat Cain.
He didn't say "NO" to Cavuto.
I think he was putting out a message to the big donors who are currently courting Christie.
He's the next one up to try to stop Sarah Palin.
Stand by.

“reports he’s been approached by Republican activists”
I would say he has been approached by RINO’s.
To: onyx
Jeeze,
Not him again. I have my hands full trying to deal with Perry’s staff here, and before that Daniels, and now Huckster again.
Oh well, I’ll deal with him (again) when necessary.

Huck wouldn’t be all that good a president. He is socially conservative, but he hardly saw a big program he didn’t like. Huckabee addressing Congress would be like a farmer calling hogs to full troughs.
That said, an upcoming Palin or Cain (or maybe Perry, if he weathers this) presidency could find Huckabee useful in a cabinet post where he does not have a lot of impact on the budget.

I don't think any of this, even moving up the primary dates comes as any surprise to Governor Palin.
To: Parley Baer
RINOS of course and Huck even gave his price: $50 Million in donations guaranteed.

I agree and recall that she’s said all along that she anticipated that others would enter?
Hello Huckster.

Log Cabin Republicans? ROTFL.
Also, recall that Ed Rollins has left Bachmann's campaign. Returning home to the Huckster?

I hope he keeps us happy, but he’s sure trying to have the big donors change his mind.

I think Governor Palin has a lot of ears on the ground and is better connected than many give her credit for being.
To: onyx
I mean, after finding out that somebody even thought him a serious alternative at this point...I don’t want to hear another word about how they think Palin’s been jerking people around. Not a word. Not a peep. Not a grunt.

The media depends on this horse race, and quite frankly without her, there’s just not that much interest.
I’m already so damn sick and tired of the Perry/Romney squabbles, I mute every report about the two of them.
