>>Why? What does she owe you? Her childrens lives and safety? Their happiness? What does she owe you?

Absolutely nothing. I didn’t ask her to pretend to run, or to hint that she was running, or to get people to believe that she would run. I’m only asking that she either do it, or tell you folks that she isn’t and let you start participating in the process as something more than a spoiler. If running in the primary now is a threat to her childrens lives, then she would be a monster to run next month too.

She isn't pretending. She'll tell everyone her decision when she's ready and not before.

I'm sorry but you do not have a clue as to how stupid this move was.

If you have not worked campaigns where you were cursed at,spit at,had people use really filthy gestures at you, and tried to run you down, then you do not have a clue.

Do not try to give me a lesson on who, what, where, and when. I have been very active in Florida Politics for two decades, and our entire Executive Committee voted to ask the powers that be, not to do this. We are not alone.

There is no sense in even talking to someone that is so clueless about this. I guess you like to invade someones privacy during the Holidays. You are part of the problem.

ok who is your guy:

Perry- thinks like a liberal very soft on immigration
Newt- global warming, dedee, excess baggage
Romney- Obamneycare

now Cain would get my vote here but i still view him as a longshot.

Sarah is worth waiting for. Are you going door to door next weekend for somebody? I dont understand why you seem to be so mad. After all cont you still vote for any of the above if Sarah never gets in?

Ii met Charlie when I was in Broward working at BREC HQ, and I instantly liked him. He is a very personable Guy, but he is an empty suit, and a user. It did not take a few of us long before we realized that Charlie never stopped running for the next Office down the line. He tagged along wherever he could to ride Jeb’s coattails, and it became an embarrassment, but that never stopped him. It was either vote for Charlie or vote for a career Florida Politician that had a very checkered past to say the least. It was Xrated. I don't want to say who it was, you probably already figured it out.

My little Dog who is 14 1/2 was born in Boca Raton, and that is where I rescued her from. You probably would not recognize Boca anymore, I do not hardly recognize a lot of Broward anymore.

You would like the Weather this weekend, it is finally not stifling, and it bodes well for more beautiful weather to come.

I can tell you that a lot of Palin supporters could not vote in the Straw Poll at Presidency 5, so they voted for Herman Cain, but they were really impressed by him, and love him anyway. I would have done the same thing, he is a wonderful guy. I have been to three of the Presidency Straw polls, and I always have a great time. Word is that the Party Bigwigs wanted Romney to win, and some were for Perry until he showed his true colors. It worked out OK.

Hope that Arizona Sun does not take it's toll on you. What a difference from Humid Florida.

by all means dont donate to sarahpac, though it is still better than RNC, i think. actually i think a lot of SP diehards are waiting to give when the announcement comes and not sooner, so your view has lots of company.

I have been very active in Florida Politics for two decades

————————————————>

I’m not too sure what that means in today’s world.

Most politicians in office for 20 years are the ones I’m working to get out of the system.

Get educated on politics, your mindset will get you just the opposite of what your supposed goal is. I doubt you are from Florida, even a Gator would be more educated.

Buy a clue, then get off your butt and do some GOTV work besides plunking on your keyboard.

I think if anyone actually takes the time to read the email I posted the obvious conclusion is that those actually organizing are sure she’s running. But, then what do I know...

Too many FReepers believe the political world rises and sets only here. They have no idea what is happening out there in the "real world". Palin has a huge army out there already working on her behalf. Once she announces, that number will swell immensely. Her detractors can then assuage their guilt over mindlessly attacking her by making a generous donation to her campaign fund.

Come down to Naples and join us the corner of Tamiami and Pine Ridge. We normally have 75-100 people rotating on the corners and north by the bowling alley. We are a pretty effective group of conservatives.

Reagan was almost 74 at the time of his second inauguration.

I remember Reagan taking grief over his age, and defanging that argument rather cleverly. But he hadn’t been through cancer and/or heart issues, either. Suggesting someone run at 75, and face reelection at 79, is truly pushing the envelope.

If Palin were running, she’d have my vote.

1. Palin
2. Cain
3. Gingrich
4. Santorum
5. Johnson
6. Romney. His political conversion to a conservative is dubious, but at least he’s willing to campaign on conservative beliefs.
7. Bachmann. I like her as a person, but she’s not sharp enough; Sure-fire re-election of Obama.
7. Paul. His transcriptions are written in all-caps.
8. Perry. Despicable, corrupt trash.
9. Huntsman. Pitches for Obama’s team.

Well obviously you have learned nothing from standing in a swamp paddling away. I do not have good memories of Naples going back 30 years ago when the Holiday Inn was closed.

I guess you are a Romney supporter because everyone knows a Jan 31 primary benefits the man with the most money and people and that is Romney. He can pay people to do what the local Committees normally do.

Just like talking to a wall.

The game may change with the Florida’s to move up her primary. I agree with you that her name recognition is higher than any pol since Eisenhower’s in 1952 and Nixon’s in 1968. If other states move up their primaries, so will the filling dates. Wait and see.

To me she looks like someone happy to be being paid millions while still playing in politics. If she can pull this off I doubt she’d want to run. Of course, if she doesn’t run she may become a has been and not continue all the pay days either. Catch 22 here.

Not really. Think of it as a poker game.

After resigning the Governorship, Palin made $12 million in Reality TV, speaking fees and book sales by April, 2010.

April 15, 2010: Sarah Palin income 12 million dollars since leaving office

After taxes, etc., let's say that she now (October 2011) has $20 million in poker chips on the table.

A serious Presidential run costs SERIOUS money for campaign ads etc. Hillary put in $11 million of her own money into her own campaign and, in spite of all the fund-raising prowess of the Clinton Political machine, still ended up $9 million in DEBT.

So, Hillary LOST $20 million in poker chips to BE in the Presidential hand.

You are the poker player. What do you do? It costs $20 million in chips to play the hand. But, the pay-off is a $400,000 per year job. (You can earn that in four speeches.)

You weigh the possibilities:

A.) You win and trade $20 million in chips for a $400,000 per year "Title" that will "shackle" you from "being a maverick and being rogue". (Her words. Not mine.)

B.) You play the serious hand, it cost you $20 million in chips, you lose and you end up like Huckabee (LOSER) on FOX who earns half of what you do by doing a lot more work at FOX than you do. Losing candidates lose their mystique and the pay drops accordingly.

C.) You play the "phony" hand, like Newt is playing now. (No staff. No ads. No expenses) You keep the $20 million in chips but you certainly lose in the primaries and you end up like Huckabee (LOSER) on FOX who earns half of what you do by doing a lot more work at FOX than you do. Losing candidates lose their mystique.

D.)You tease and tease and tease until the last minute about MAYBE playing the hand, as long as you can and then say ..... (Insert noble excuse here. How about, "A title would shackle me from being a maverick and a rogue and saying what needs to be said.") You keep the $20 million in chips and you keep your mystique because your loyal followers KNOW that if you HAD played the hand you WOULD HAVE won.

Those are your four possibilities in the poker game, A CA Guy. What's your call.

If money is the object, it is a no-brainer. You choose Option D.

E. Pluribus Unum and Sun Tzu are correct:

What E. Pluribus Unum does not realize, however, is the actual nature of the "war", the actual objectives of the "war" and who is actually being deceived.

Too many FReepers believe the political world rises and sets only here. They have no idea what is happening out there in the "real world". Palin has a huge army out there already working on her behalf.

"The Undefeated" Box office gross: $116,381

The Undefeated (2011) .... Domestic Total as of Aug. 11, 2011: $116,381

"Sarah's Key" Box office gross: $6,764,000

Sarah's Key ... Domestic Total as of Oct. 2, 2011: $6,764,000

The reality of the "Real Word", upsdriver, is that a foreign laguage film, "Sarah's Key", grossed FIFTY EIGHT TIMES MORE at the Box Office than Sarah Palin's film did.

For far too long, the only result of the "Sarah Palin Tease" has been that any GOP candidate not named "Sarah" has been attacked.

Result: Mitt Romney now leads the GOP polls.
