Actually, I think they (the lamestreamers) did do their job if that job was to get a democrat elected at any cost. Their due diligence was good enough to determine that Hillary Clinton was unelectable so they went out and found someone who nobody (including themselves) knew anything about and devoted 100% of their energy to getting him elected (i.e. Newsweek sending a couple of dozen reporters to Alaska to dig up dirt on Sarah Pain rather than concentrating on a birth certificate or authorship of a couple of books or practical experience). They still view their job as getting a democrat elected - any democrat. Therefore, they will continue print unfounded fictional slanders attributed to unnamed sources to destroy any republican candidate. The really interesting thing will be to see who they endorse (probably Hillary) once they finally conclude that zero is now unelectable.
Well, I think they should have been reporting the truth. They got caught with their pants down and now it’s obvious to everyone that they are not the free press our founders envisioned.
