Our ludicrously unqualified chief executive would have been regarded as a joke candidate in any serious nation.
"The way I think about it," Barack Obama told a TV station in Orlando, "is, you know, this is a great, great country that had gotten a little soft."
He has a point. This is a great, great country that got so soft that 53 percent of electors voted for a ludicrously unqualified chief executive who would be regarded as a joke candidate in any serious nation. One should not begrudge a man who seizes his opportunity. But one should certainly hold in contempt those who allow him to seize it on the basis of such flaccid generalities as "hope" and "change": That's more than "a little" soft. "He's probably the smartest guy ever to become president," declared presidential historian Michael Beschloss the day after the 2008 election. But you don't have to be that smart to put one over on all the smart guys. "I'm a sap, a specific kind of sap. I'm an Obama Sap," admits David Brooks, the softest touch at The New York Times. Tina Brown, editor of Newsweek, now says of the president: "He wasn't ready, it turns out, really." Article Tab: From left, incoming Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Martin E. Dempsey, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, Vice President Joe Biden, President Barack Obama, and outgoing Joint Chiefs Chairman Adm. Mike Mullen, take part a ceremony at Ft. Myer in Arlington, Va., Friday, Sept. 30.
If you're a tenured columnist at The New York Times, you can just about afford the consequences of your sappiness. But out there among the hundreds of thousands of your readers who didn't know you were a sap until you told them three years later, soft choices have hard consequences.

About half this natin is soft all right.
SOFT IN THE FRIGGIN HEAD.
Not only did they elect a man who is totally unqualified, incompetent, and who may not even be American, They still support this scumbag, after they have seen what he has done.
The MSM focused like a laser on the important things of the 2008 election:
The status of Joe the Plumber’s trade license, and the DNA of Palin’s Down Syndrome child.
A day late and a dollar short.
The media blew it. We all knew it. FR should be president.
"I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy."
- Biden
due diligence is never done on affirmative action candidates, they pass and if they can’t the standards get lowered until they do...nothing to see here.
If your following statement is true: “Our ludicrously unqualified chief executive would have been regarded as a joke candidate in any serious nation.” then how do you reconcile that statement with the fact that Obama received The Nobel Peace Prize, an INTERNATIONAL prize, in the very first year of his illustrious presidency?
Aren’t you in violation of the strict guidelines of the Fairness Doctrine?
His stints on Rush's show as a stand-in are pure radio gold. If you want to go Platinum, hook him up with Mark Levin- where the two exceed what any listener could imagine as to what's going on behind the scenes (the curtain) and how the left intends to go about deceiving people.
These guys rock in an age of socialist/communist deception paid for with the public's VISA card.
I had the distinction of posting the first comment to David Brooks “I Am A Sap” column.
I said - more or less, speaking to Brooks - if you hadn’t been so busy drooling over Obama you would have done your job and properly vetted Obama thus likely saving this country a whole lot of misery.
So I put the disaster this country is suffering at the feet of David Brooks and his ilk since they couldn’t be bothered to do their jobs, a job expected by the founding fathers, and instead fell for the ridiculous hype of the “FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT”. Idiots!
Needless to say, I wasn’t surprised to later see that my comment had disappeared.
I have a very hard time forgiving the electorate for being so stupid...even some of my closest friends. I hope they’re smarter this time around...it will take years to undo this damage..to our economy, to our defenses and to our national psyche.
There seemed to have been a significant amount of due diligence aimed at covering up Obama’s past.
Hermie Caine don’t the Onions to say the truth..
Not blacks but most of America has gone soft in the head..
Basically brain washed.. propagandized.. or manipulated by “Polls”..
The teachers Unions eliminated Civics and AMerican History from required courses.. ON PURPOSE...
A truely seditious act... and not only that but REPUBLICANS ALLOWED IT TO HAPPEN...

Dead Parrot Economy
The British comedy troupe Monty Pythons Flying Circus performed its now-famous Dead Parrot Sketch in 1969 and many times after that. A customer enters a pet shop to get a refund for a dead parrot, but the pet shop owner refuses to acknowledge that the parrot is dead, insisting that its merely resting. During the financial crisis of 2008, the term Dead Parrot Economy was cited in print in June 2008 and in October 2008. Financial officials, according to the blog posts, refused to admit that the economy (a dead parrot”) was really dead.
After a dismal jobs report was released in July 2011, political columnist Mark Steyn also used the dead parrot economy term.

A few 'roos loose in the top paddock.
Have you ever seen that Nobel Prize, or anything else this person is purported to have done or won?
Good point! I have not seen even a small picture, although I must confess that my gag response was over active around the time of the Nobel award. Must have been something I ate - - - .
We have NEVER seen any of his records or anything he was purported to have written.
Never in the history of this country has a president been elected with no known record of his academic background. We were told he did this and he did that and the other thing, but we sure never were shown any proof that he did any of it.
