Real conservative Bachmann calls faux conservative Perry on his pro-ILLEGAL alien positions.
Bachmann scored high on her illegal immigration stance along with Herman Cain.
Both of them are indeed the two favorite candidates when it comes to illegals.
Perry deserves to called out for his illegal immigration policies—no doubt about it. But Bachmann’s focus on criticizing Perry to the exclusion of Romney lends a ton of credence to the charge that she’s stalking horse for Mitt.
Absolutely. Immigration is a big issue for me -- so big that I could never support a candidate who panders to ILLEGAL aliens by giving them taxpayer funded subsidies, i.e., Rick Perry.
Mine to. ILLEGAL immigration is a huge problem for America on many fronts.
I agree. With Romney leading in most polls (I know, I hate them too) Michele needs to hammer Romney also. Perry and Romney are both RINOs. Why focus on just one?
‘Cause Bachmann is vying to be Romney’s VP, not Perry’s.
Duh.
Like Mitt would he’d be interested in a VP that can bring no states and only attracts 5% of the Republican vote.
Did say Mitt was pining for Michelle...I said Michelle is vying for Mitt’s VP. She’s a conservative woman, which adds to his moderate base.
Unless he picks Rick Perry, then game over for Obama.
We can’t settle what?
We can’t settle for a pro-ILLEGAL alien RINO (Perry) who advocates for spending taxpayer dollars on subsidies for ILLEGAL aliens.
Bachmann BUMP.
I wish Bachmann would attack Romney sometimes.
But having said that, I think Obama is getting so weak even Bachmann could beat him in the general.
I would like to know what Michele is going to do once the border is secure and it is time to decide what to do about illegal immigrants already here.
At the Reagan library debate, she deflected from answering it.
“Michele Bachmann didnt say what she thought should be done with the millions of illegal immigrants in the country already, but added, Our immigration law worked beautifully back in the 1950s and 1960s. ... They would not become a burden to American taxpayers.
She wouldn’t answer that twice at the FOX debate.
She wouldn’t answer when she held a mini presser with Sheriff Joe Arpaio and when asked what she would do with all the undocumented workers...
Michele: Well of course what we need to do is first secure the borders. So this is a sequence issue. So we need to deal with that issue first, then deal with all the inducements that are out there and from there well move on from there.
What is Michele doing to support this, is her name on it?
http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h112-1956
There are a couple more up there lacking her name as a co-sponsor by Rep Poe
I should think this is every bit as important as the Lightbulb Act, if Michele is wanting to address this issue, she has some power to NOW, but she isn’t...why?
There are some good choices out there and since most Republican office holders are to the right of Mitt, he would have a hard time picking a bad one.
Cain may be the best choice if he doesn't implode down the stretch.
However, with the new proportional rules in the GOP, I wouldn't be surprised if no one gets to the convention with a clear majority of delegates. So, there may be a merger of some type during the convention.
What if Mitt had 40% - Perry had 35% - Cain had 20% and the others had 5%? That would be a fun convention.
Cheers.
Also, even if she was elected and was able to get that fence, the studies and the fights—that fence wouldn’t even start going up until well into her second term.
I’m not belittling. If she could pull of VP, that’s a smart move. From there, she can fall back to Governor or put together a presidential run in 2020.
Perry has been governor for a longgggggg time. He may be ready for a change.
Cain is a Romney man, but I’m not sure what he offers the ticket. No states for sure, maybe some conservatives.
Bachmanns been in congress where laws are actually passed, did she write a bill?
What’s Michele down to 50cents in campaign $? Until Primaries the “real” voting is $, not polls. Perry sure looks to be still way far out front where it counts right now.
Bye Bye Michele, been nice knowin ya.
