The Obama administration on Friday asked a federal appeals court to block Alabama's strict new anti-illegal immigration law after a federal judge allowed key portions to take effect.

U.S. District Judge Sharon Lovelace Blackburn earlier this week backed the law authorizing police to detain people suspected of being in the country illegally if they cannot produce proper documentation when stopped for any reason.

The judge also upheld a provision that permits the state to require public schools to determine the legal residency of children. Federal judges in other states have blocked similar state laws aimed at trying to stem illegal immigration....

What a flagrant display of disregard for the Law. Here we have the "Justice Department" OBJECTING to enforcement of Laws, and limiting handouts to U.S. Citizens.

I read an article yesterday about illegals coming into this country with papers posing as High school students..This day their were four of them getting on a School bus the driver went into town and reported them this had happened before..This happened in New Mexico and I am sure they are doing it all over the country..I would guess the Obama administration set them up with false papers..When the time comes these wet backs will vote and guess who they will vote for..I am sure they can come up with enough I to say they have lived here long enough..Didn't Obama get away with saying he was born and raised here when we know now he wasn't..

Seems to me that only the 4 Southern Border states have a US Federal border with Mexico, and thus even consider the legal tap dances of the Feds.

Hence, all the other 46 States, and all of the US Territories can pass whatever THEIR citizens choose to pass concerning Illegal Aliens from Mexico. Yep, that is racial profiling, and that is exactly the problem that we as a Nation have.

Since the Feds have refused to solve the problem for decades, it is time for the citizens of each State to solve the problem between now and 11-2012.
