It sickens me the deliberate, obvious, traitorous, but oh-so-predictable lack of attention being paid not only to F & F, but to Solyndra as well. Less than 1/10 of these types of scandals would have had the media howling and gnashing their teeth, day and night, until impeachment was afoot.

Damn filthy slaves, that’s what our “free press” is.

Press is free. Access is not. As the Federal Government grows and grows and grows its importance to the news cycle grows. Reporters and outlets critical of the administration lose their access. They are blackballed. If you are in the business of being in the media, then it is bad for business to be critical of the government or its myriad agencies. Simple economics drives the decision, though no doubt there is bias among the pools of reporters and columnists too.

It is a good thing the MSM is dieing, and alternate media is growing. I imagine that 2012 will be a banner year for alternative media, home reportage, viral videos etc etc and play a major part in the success of the victors. If the MSM won’t do it, others will. If Justin Beiber can become rich and famous from a couple of youtube videos, then surely youtube can be a critical component to victory in 2012.
