Owww, that could really hurt, especially if a small child eats this stuff.
You ever watch a teenager eat mac-and-cheese? Inhale. Gone. Don't blink, you'll miss it.

I remember those days growing up with it although the memory of each bowl was very short-lived!
You are right there! Imagine what this wire could do in the stomach and/or intestines?
Another reason to be thankful that all I can afford is the generic 3/$1 (now 2/$1 - just sayin’) boxed mac & cheese....
It's a tough thing, the free market. You just never know. Overall the stock has done well since the March 2009 lows. I bought in at the height of the 2008 panic. Seemed like a once in a generation opportunity to buy stocks. So far so good.
Surprising to see this, as just about every food product from every manufacturer in the country is run through highly sensitive metal detectors to check for the possible inclusion of metal bits from the manufacturing process.
fiber!
Don't have to imagine. It's a $500 vet bill, minimum for a critter that swallows something pointy and metal. It truly sucks.

I just ate that very one not ten minutes ago. I'm looking at the empty container right now.
Yep, that was my thought. Failed detector, failed 'kicker' (to kick the product off the line), sloppy maintenance, or fragment size under detector threshold is all I could come up with for reasons.
Since they know the dates, I assume Kraft knows the root cause, and has it fixed.

Got stomach pump? Good luck.
I can hear it now.
Speaking to the TSA:
Me: But sir, I just ate a cup of Velveeta Shells before arriving at the airport!
Same date, same UPC. I’m feeling fine, so far. I dug the cup out of the trash when I saw this article and will save it for future law suits, when I start s****** blood.
Might need to do an upchuck? Sorry to hear that!

Must be very very difficult to find a small piece of wire inside of you? This is pretty bad.
I have a friend whose dog chewed on the wire brush they used to clean their bar-b-que. Wow, talk about health problems, the wire bristles did just that, got imbedded in the dog's intestines. The dog lived, but they had quite the vet bill.
I may just be “whistling past the grave yard” here but these big companies like to err on the side of caution to avoid any law suits and recall thousands when only a few may have been contaminated.
I was looking in the cupboard for something to snack on and saw that cup. I had never eaten one before and asked my wife if they were any good. She told me that the g/kids like them and they had already eaten two of them a few days ago.
They tasted fine, my only complaint was there sure wasn’t very much in one container.
I’ll be watching my stool and any other symptoms. I got my first flu shot ever yesterday and I’ve heard that can make you a little bit sick too, though I don’t know if there’s any truth to it.
