These kids are too young to make such life changing decisions. They're "pretending" at this age. They probably believe if they changed their minds, they could always go back. They have no idea their "parents" have mutilated them beyond repair. They'll forever be walking Frankensteins.
This isn't a child's choice. At this age, this is an insane parents choice.

And the child, being a child, accepts the premise and acts accordingly. Children need the love and acceptance of their ‘parent’ whomever that might be designated. So sad for the kids. Perversion used to be recognized and treated. Now it is glorified. Heartbreaking for those who could benefit from intense psychological counseling.
