“Consider: for decades, Hollywood has been working with the Hugh Hefners and Helen Gurley Browns to persuade us that the highest purpose and pleasure of life is sexual experience – the more varied and insatiable, the better. Living together is better than being married; “hooking up” is preferable to living together; orgies are better than one-night stands.”
We are in a society that has no concept of what proper sexual behavior and morality is....no wonder things like DADT get repealed.
And one of the strangest features of the entire sexual revolution is that a sexually “liberated” person is intensely more miserable than a person who follows the rules of God - sex only within marriage. (And I would add and does not use artificial contraception.)
The more sexually “liberated” society, the more human suffering. And morals are tethered together - reject sexual morality, and all other vices come along for the ride. A society that rejects sexual morality ultimately winds up rejecting all the virtues; they’re all of a piece.
