I am not sure how this happened. I don’t know when it happened. I am unaware of what I did to have this happen. But I am now considered by many of my countrymen, and by my government, an enemy of the state.

When the Founders and their supporters outlined the ideas for a new form of government, they were considered traitors and enemies of the state by the King of England, but referred to as heroes by succeeding generations of their fellow Americans. 236 years later, because I revere the ideals they espoused, I have now become an enemy of the state. I guess the definition has changed, because I certainly haven’t.

They have supplanted my state, with one of their own devising, without my consent. Am I an enemy of the state? That would depend upon which state you are referring to.

The original state, as envisioned by the founders, and outlined by the Constitution? No, no, and a thousand times, NO!! Am I an enemy of "the state" which has usurped the aforementioned state? Yes, and rightly so, for it is a foreign device, far removed from our roots, and our heritage.

I hold myself to be citizen, and not subject. I hold all to be my equal,but absolutely no other human being to be my superior, their airs and pretensions notwithstanding. I hold myself to be true to my sworn word to "protect, preserve, and defend the Constitution of the United States, against all enemies, foreign and domestic."

I will die as I have lived, faithful to my God, loyal to "my" contry, and true to my own given word. If it is my fate to fall while resisting the tyranny of those who know no law, save their own whim and self-serving agenda, then so be it, and I agree with the first peoples here, that in such cause, "today is a good day to die". Before I spend what life remains to me on my knees, kissing the posterior of a tyrant and his lackeys, I will die on my feet, spitting into their collective faces...
