Here is the HEART of his premise:
In other words, in all of this talk about whether Palin will run or not, one question is NEVER asked:
Does Palin have more to gain (or lose) by running or by not running?
The reason that question is never asked is because, no matter your frame of reference when it comes to “analyzing” Sarah Palin, the conclusion would be the same:
She’s running. She’s always been running. She has more to lose by NOT running...
-- snip --

...She’s always been running. The indecision isn’t genuine; it’s feigned.

The tactics may confound because they’re unconventional, but the strategy always has been obvious.

“All warfare is based on deception.”

Absolutely 100% spot on. And as I’ve said since people speculated about Christie and Rudy- the more the merrier! The more RINOS we have, the better the chance a real conservative gets the nod.

“All warfare is based on deception.”

She seems to have studied Sun Tzu long and hard - she is certainly redefining a "political campaign" (as a military campaign).
She's a leader, not a follower - she's running, and will pull Conservatives over the finish line (with some Repubs kicking and screaming, perhaps).

Funny how so many concern trolls on FR keep saying “It’s too late for Sarah to run” and blathering on why that is so; but now that Chris Christie is “reconsidering” whether to run or not, there seems to be all the time in the world.

In other words, Sarah was right—again. There is time.

When Sarah gets in, she will eclipse Perry almost overnight. It will become a Romney, Palin, Cain game. When Sarah gets the nomination, Cain can be her VP. They are natural allies.

The month of September has been a total waste for the GOP candidates—they fell for the MSM line that “We must have these debates NOW!”. The circular firing squad accomplished its purpose. In spite of all the attacks on him, there are enough brain dead people who still think there is a difference between Obama and Romney, hence Romney is still leading.

Palin will fillet Obama’s policies in GOP debates, and Romney as well, as he is just Obama-lite.She knows she has to get past Romney to take on Obama.

And she knows Obama is the real enemy to this country.

Boehner enjoys sitting in the Speaker chair thanks to only one person—Sarah Palin. And she will will remind him and the rest of the RINO squishes of that fact soon enough.

Hopefully, people like Bill Kristol and Tokyo Rove will lose the rest of their slim credibility in this whole process.

Sarah knows her candidacy will reset the ground rules for this moribund campaign for the GOP. And that is what is needed to save the country. Other than Cain, there is NO GOP candidate with the intestinal fortitude for the fight that must be waged in 2012.

The future of a free nation is at stake.

And by extension, the fate of all free people in the world.

I think it is almost necessary that Sarah run now. I think she should try really hard to garner 20% in Iowa which I believe she could do.

If Herman Cain gets close to 20 as well then have a conversation with him about who should go forward.

This would be an interesting conversation but it would happen.

The elites are trying to choose our candidate folks you may not like Sarah but they are trying to hijack the process before one vote is cast.

Any Republican nominee would kill Obama he is toast so as Bachmann said” why settle.”

If Herman can wins the nomination he will be President same with Sarah or anyone else that can get the nomination.

Everyone is getting all wee-weed up lately about Sarah Palin’s supposed indecision about a run for President, especially after her interview last night with Greta.

Some here are nearly suicidal.

Sarah Palin certainly didn't sound interested in running for president last night.

"Is a title worth it-- does a title shackle a person?" the former Alaska governor asked during a discussion of her 2012 plans with Fox News' Greta Van Susteren.

"Someone like me, who's maverick--you know I do 'go rogue' and I call it like I see it and I don't mind stirring it up ... [for] somebody like me, is a title and is a campaign too shackling?"

"Does a title take away my freedom to call it like I see it and to effect positive change...

A Palin presidency: Too “shackle-y?”

That’s what Sarah Palin suggested on Fox News’ “On The Record with Greta VanSusteren” tonight, saying that she’s concerned jumping into the 2012 presidential race will muffle her message.

“Is a title worth it?” she asked, rhetorically.

“Does a title shackle a person? Are they someone like me who’s maverick? I do go rogue and I call it like I see it and I don’t mind stirring it up in order to get people to think and debate aggressively.”

I think counting the cost is pretty important especially when running could cost her her life with all the PDS going around. “There I said” stealing from Mark Levin.

Probably a lot of truth in this. My initial thought was also that the ginned-up media frenzy about Christie was about to switch over to Palin and her decision, and this was a way to tamp things down a few days. Thus avoiding the media manipulation, along with waiting to smoke out any further ‘establishment’ moves towards a new hat-in-the-ring.

Bingo!

As I posted previously, from en.wikipedia.org:

"Operation Fortitude" was the codename for the deception operations used by the Allied forces during World War II in connection with the Normandy landings (Operation Overlord)...

An inflatable dummy tank, modeled after the M4 Sherman.

...designed to induce the Germans to believe that the main invasion of France would occur in the Pas de Calais rather than Normandy.

Fortitude was one of the most successful deception operations of the war and arguably the most important...

...until now. ;)
