I think the Forbes article today finally legitimized F&F as a bonafide news story for the networks and the likes of CNN. If Forbes is doing it, they can’t afford to ignore it anymore.
This is quite perceptive. If the media is turning on Obama, I would guess that the reason is they think he's going to lose and he's going to drag down the Dems in Congress with him. Once they decide that's going to happen, then they have the ammo (such as this report) to destroy him, and they'll do it to get Hillary the nomination.
Maybe I am asking an obvious question...but, doesn't it seem probable and quite possible that the Clintons are behind this sudden attention and all the leaks of information about this that are dribbling out?
I think they might have conspired with the MSM long ago, and there is so much more the Clintons and liberal media know about F & F that will come to light as Obama's poll numbers continue to drop. They and the media will let the story build. The Clintons have hated Obama from the get-go, and even though the media swooned over Zero, the Clinton machine still has sharp claws in the newsrooms of the alphabet networks.
In the meantime, Hillary has been quiet and has behaved herself pretending to be a loyal Obama player...only to avoid any suspicion of her deep anger and irritation with him since he stole the nomination.
But, the Clinton machine has continued working behind the scenes, like a spider spinning a web and waiting to pounce. This is just beginning. Hillary will stay out of the fray and let the media boil Obama in oil. Until HER time to be begged by the Dems to step in and save their party. It is all planned. JMHO.
Replacing Obama with Hillary would be an exercise in futility. She would probably do worse in the general than Obama.
Consider the irony of all this.
When the 2008 election cycle began, the media were four-square for Hillary -- convinced that she was "inevitable".
But, when Obozo started getting traction, the media stampeded to leave Hillary, viciously turning on her and proclaiming their everlasting adoration of The Won.
It was embarrassing, really. And it revealed how much the media had actually detested the Clintons -- recognizing all along that they had been ruthlessly used by a master user, like cheap whores.
Now, the worm may have turned...again. And the media voluntarily march from being "Cheap Whores For Obama" to becoming "Cheap Whores for Clinton" once again.
Like whores, the media has only one commodity of any value. In their case, credibility. And they apparently preparing to spend what little they have left to support Hillary.
