It has been over a week now since the Gore-a-thon aka “24 hours of climate reality”. The front page of the Climate Reality Project has changed from “live mode” to offering clips of video shown during the 24 hour presentation. Note the circled video on the front page below Mr. Gore. I’ve discovered that by watching carefully it reveals an “inconvenient truth” of the worst kind......

To make a long story short....A video showing an experiment of how CO2 warms the earth was faked. The easiest proof is that the thermometers have different length green tags at the end. During a 10 second or so clip, the thermometer with the longer green tag magically switches with the one with the smaller green tag. Obviously the video was edited.
There are many more examples but that is the easiest one to see.

Why am I not surprised that Gore’s experiment is as fake as Obama’s birth certificates?
I have one problem, the “circled video tape” the author mentions is in fact an audio tape, likely a Norelco C-45 or C-30 compact cassette, you know what people just call cassettes. It is not a video tape at all. Since Gore’s people put the image up, it is on them.
Never mind, now that I have seen the clip, the audio tape is supposed to represent accompanying music ... dumb, Gore, dumb.

Al’s little experiment could not possibly duplicate real conditions. CO2 is only a fraction of a percent in the atmosphere so filling the jar with CO2 is totally bogus. To be better representative of the real atmosphere repeat the experiment with CO2 levels of 0.0387% compared to a jar with and 80% nitrogen 20% oxygen mixture and no CO2...I doubt there would be any measurable difference in temperature.. Water vapor is also a potent greenhouse gas so both jars would have to be perfectly dry. However, I think this “experiment” was rigged. Let real scientists try to duplicate these results..my bet is that they could not be duplicated.

Please do not fall in the trap of saying that CO2 does not heat the atmosphere (it does) or that increases in CO2 will not cause warming (they almost certainly will and debate of whether they will or they won't is highly technical). Instead I would simply point out that weather generally has a cooling effect and that increases in "extremes" although yet unproven, will cause cooling (or more precisely, negative feedback to CO2 warming)
