I think he’s pulling a ‘scorched Earth’. He knows he’s toast in the election, so he’s going to take everyone and everything down with him to the point no one will be able to fix it. And he’s enough of a narcissist to try.

That's what I've been saying. Just wait until just prior to the election time. He's going to do something to suspend or cancel the election and in the process instill Martial Law. This bastard is evil.
