,,,,,, I simply don't trust Perry or Romney ,, they are both flippers ,,, They'll say anything to get elected . . .

Thanks for your point of view ,, it substantiates my own perspective on what really happened in Texas and whether Perry may have a reason to be soft on illegals .

N-i-c-e deconstruction....Will88 nails it but good.

Perry’s 2001 support for in-state tuition legislation was, back then, seemingly within the mainstream of the Texas Republican Party. 10 years later it clearly has changed............

AND HERE'S THE REASON WHY: The public learned that rank politicians, like Perry, entrusted with enforcing immigration law, were deliberately ignoring the law and pursuing a sub rosa agenda they never bothered to inform the tax-paying public about.

Once the public was alerted to pols' deceit, they became involved. It has been a matter of the public learning about deceitful politicians... both Bushes, Ted Kennedy, John McCain, Slick Willie, Obama, Rick Perry and many others......particularly GWB's attempts to grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens.

More egregiously, these same politicians whose negligence exacerbated the illegal problem, then began offering 'solutions'.....amnesty which also bought pols votes and campaign contributions, Dream Act and other giveaways, in a show of shameless pandering to ethnic groups.

When voters became aware of politicians' pandering, they opposed it by large margins.

Today some 81% of Americans oppose these programs.....and that cuts across the political spectrum. Even if by some strange twist of fate, Perry survives conservative ire, he would still have to face the disaffection of the general public, at a later date.

If you’re in Houston, and you can see “mexicans,” how do you know they are illegal aliens?

Rationality, objectivism and a grasp of the obvious are common among most humans... emotionalism rules the hearts and minds of those who are stuck on stupid... I see you are stuck, no way to carry on a discussion, byby
