As the facts come out, that well circulated comment is losing its punch and starting to sound like pouting and stubborn retorts by a 15 year old.
This is a problem that Texas did not make but like other states is having to address because of the problem the feds have caused by not sealing the border.
Rick Perry has stated flatly that he will seal the border, that he does not support the Federal Dream Act and that he does not support Amnesty.

All true but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Rick Perry has also said he opposes e verification, the most important part of the enforcement puzzle,for the same reasons Dems oppose it, further opposes a fence and he would consider a path to citizenship (amnesty) once the border is enforced, not to mention granting instate tuition discounts
