.....Gov. Rick Perry signed into law a bill that further limits government entities’ ability to seize private property.

The legislation, Senate Bill 18, was one of Gov. Perry’s so-called emergency initiatives for the current legislative session, which ends May 30. It strengthens a property owner’s right to defend against eminent domain from government agencies and private entities. Both the United States and Texas constitutions prohibit taking private property without just compensation.

Thanks for posting that. You know, all you little Perry bashers that are PO’d because he said you have no heart... The more I read - the more uninformed the you sound.

A fence hasn’t stopped the flow of illegals up til now, so why build the world’s longest fence? They just jump over it or dig under it, trying to escape that beautiful country called Mexico.

As a resident of San Antonio, there are likely a good number of illegal immigrants that live nearby and work nearby. If you say, when these folks actually bring their children across the border illegally - that the children should be punished, you ARE heartless SOB’s. The parents are to blame. These children of illegal immigrants live in Texas - and you believe they shouldn’t get in-state tuition? I don’t really understand. It’s not like these poor kids have a choice of where they live. Perry isn’t endorsing illegals -he’s simply not punishing their kids.

I am 100% in Perry’s corner. No other candidate can hold a candle to him.
