My motives are most appropriate. I want the best conservative with the best chances of beating Obama to be the nominee. After extensive research, Rick Perry looks to be the best of the lot. He has the best executive conservative governing record of anyone. He's solid on economic, military and social issues. I do like Herman Cain, what conservative wouldn't. But I don't see him getting the nomination. Bachmann is in meldown. Got to stop Romney!

Fair enough—though I disagree with you on the “electability” of the sundry candidates. Often the “established” conventional wisdom is but clever wishful thinking.
Giuliani and Fred Thompson in 2007 come to mind.
