” I’m sorry but Perry blew it—he is right for Texas I suppose, but not for the rest of the country. “ <<<<

I’m sure it’s a waste of my time, but does this mean that Rick was the first and ONLY candidate who is all over state’s rights??? That is until Romney pifered it and is now flogging it for himself? Remember Arizona, when this race gets thrown to Mitt the faux good ole boy. GAD.

I’ve notice that too. Suddenly all the other candidates are trying to parrot Perry’s theme on over regulations, over litigation, over taxation and States Rights. Thing is, Gov. Perry can show what he’s done and more in his fight against the EPA, NEA and the legal community who has geared up to fight his campaign. As well as Big Education unions and NOW. Sometimes I wonder how many lawyers are posting here on FR. Hmmmm?

I'm all for states rights, and if you use your Tenth Amendment powers, that's fine. But like using your first Amendment Rights, say you call Jesus Christ a really ugly name, you still have to live with the consequences of your actions.

“I'm not voting for him because of what he called Jesus.”
“But he has freedom of speech.”
“And I have the right to vote.”
