The White House announced today it planned to expand a program to secure and destroy Libya's huge stockpile of dangerous surface-to-air missiles, following an ABC News report that large numbers of them continue to be stolen from unguarded military warehouses.
Currently the U.S. State Department has one official on the ground in Libya, as well as five contractors who specialize in "explosive ordinance disposal", all working with the rebel Transitional National Council to find the looted missiles, White House spokesperson Jay Carney told reporters.

Unless it gets the “center fuel tank” treatment ala Klintons.
I have to wonder why none were used against all those NATO planes putting him out of business in the first place. 20,000 would cause a bit of trouble and he might still be sipping on cocktails in his tent if he had used them.
They would never ship this missiles to the Atlantic seaboard and shoot down jets filled with American infidels. Never.
It's not so bad. These missiles can only reach 11,000 feet. We just need to make current airports no-fly zones and we'll be fine. We just create new secure airports with 100 mile security radius's with F16 hovering 24-7. We get the people to these airports with inter-continental trains. We could borrow the money from the Chinese to do this.
Obama is a genius. This could create jobs, stimulate the economy, bring down unemployment, and make Al Qaida like us at the same time.
Not to worry. I’m sure The Muzlim Bruthahood has them safely squirreled away and is feverishly disarming them.
Maybe that could be our new concept for civilian infidel Airports here in the states. I think we need more Ramdan dinners at the White house.
I bet they would like Jews after going on that ride.
Author and salesman of the Center Fuel tank Theory has chimed in:
“I think the probability of al Qaeda being able to smuggle some of the stinger-like missiles out of Libya is probably pretty high,” said Richard Clarke, former White House counterterrorism advisor and now a consultant to ABC News.
Fine. Just don't let the ATF get involved.
